Palm Mounts - The Eight Life Forces

The Eight Mounts (八大丘)

Eight raised areas on the palm each govern a specific life force. The fullness, shape and condition of each mount reveals the strength or weakness of that energy in your life.

Mount of Venus (金星丘)

Location: Base of thumb. Governs: Love, passion, vitality, sensual pleasure. Full and raised Venus mount: Strong sex drive, generous love, good health, warm personality. Flat Venus mount: Low energy, reserved love, may feel detached from pleasure.

Mount of Jupiter (木星丘)

Location: Below index finger. Governs: Ambition, power, leadership, self-confidence. Full Jupiter: Natural leader, ambitious, confident. May be domineering. Flat Jupiter: Lacks confidence, may feel inferior. Good at following but not leading.

Mount of Saturn (土星丘)

Location: Below middle finger. Governs: Wisdom, seriousness, responsibility, karma. Full Saturn: Serious thinker, responsible, disciplined. May be overly pessimistic. Flat Saturn: Lack of responsibility, carefree, avoids serious commitment.

Mount of Apollo (太阳丘)

Location: Below ring finger. Governs: Creativity, fame, success, artistic talent. Full Apollo: Creative talent, attractive to success, warm personality. May be vain. Flat Apollo: Lacks creative drive, may feel invisible.

Mount of Mercury (水星丘)

Location: Below pinky finger. Governs: Communication, business, intelligence, social skills. Full Mercury: Excellent communicator, sharp business sense, socially skilled. May be manipulative. Flat Mercury: Difficulty with communication, poor social skills.

Mount of Moon (月丘)

Location: Bottom of palm opposite thumb. Governs: Intuition, imagination, travel, subconscious. Full Moon: Highly intuitive, imaginative, drawn to travel and mystery. May be escapist. Flat Moon: Practical, down-to-earth, lacks imagination.

Inner Mars (内火星)

Location: Below Life Line. Governs: Courage, strength, vitality, family. Full Inner Mars: Courageous, strong-willed, protective of family. Flat: Lacks courage, easily overwhelmed.

Outer Mars (外火星)

Location: Bottom center of palm. Governs: Energy, endurance, physical strength. Full Outer Mars: High energy, athletic, hardworking. Flat: Low stamina, may feel exhausted easily.
