Bo Shu (卜术) - The Art of Divination

卜术 (Bo Shu) is the art of answering specific questions about specific events. Unlike destiny reading, it focuses on the now - the precise moment of the question.

What is Bo Shu

Bo Shu (卜术) focuses on predicting the outcome of specific events and providing guidance for decisions. It does not read lifelong destiny. It answers the urgent question: will this happen? Should I do this? When will this come?

Liu Yao (六爻)

Liu Yao, meaning Six Lines, uses the I Ching hexagram system with three coins tossed six times. Each line of the hexagram carries one of six roles: Parents, Brother, Wealth, Officer, Child. These interact with the date and time of the cast to reveal the answer. Liu Yao is exceptionally precise for questions with clear yes/no answers and is the most widely practiced divination method in China.

Qi Men Dun Jia (奇门遁甲)

Qi Men Dun Jia is the supreme art of Chinese metaphysics. It maps time, space and energy onto a 3x3 grid at any given moment. Originally used for military strategy by emperors, it is now used for business decisions, legal matters, health questions and any high-stakes choice. It reveals the optimal time and direction for action.

Da Liu Ren (大六壬)

Da Liu Ren is considered the most difficult and most precise divination system. It uses 12 earthly branches in combination with the date and time to create a complex chart. Traditionally used for matters of great importance - court cases, political decisions, major investments. It is known for its exceptional accuracy but requires deep knowledge to master.

Plum Blossom (梅花易数)

Created by Shao Yong in the Song Dynasty, Plum Blossom divination uses any number, sound, image or natural event as the seed of a reading. It is the most flexible and accessible method. You can divine from a license plate you happen to see, a sound that catches your ear, or the time on a clock. Shao Yong created it after observing a cat chasing a bird on a plum tree.
